Norwich-based marketing communications agency The Works has acquired a rival agency, FSW, to strengthen its position in the business-to-business sector. The firm also has another acquisition in the pipeline.

Owned by Colin Turner and Liz Cooper, FSW, is an advertising and PR agency, which has specialized in b2b since 1973. It has relocated to The Works’ Norwich-based office, bringing the total number of staff to 30. Russell Evans, founder and owner of The Works and managing director of the new integrated offering, said: “This transaction represents a compelling opportunity for our clients, who can all benefit from the emerging company with a strengthened range of expertise, market reach and competitive offering.”

The agencies have a combined turnover of around £2million with a mix of national and regional clients including Chapelfield, Celotex, Adrian Flux Insurance Services, CEVA Animal Health, Lely, Euronics, Norfolk County Council, Toro and The Forum Trust.
