A bespoke, business intelligence service has been launched at Norwich International Airport. The free service will enable clients using SaxonAir; the Norwich-based aircraft charter and management service, to access specialist knowledge about the city and county.  SaxonAir also provides a handling service for visiting business and private aircraft and this information will help business visitors to Norfolk, make informed decisions about the county as a place to do business, invest, work or live. The service is offered through a collaboration between SaxonAir and Shaping Norfolk’s Future (SNF), the business-led partnership.

SNF, which includes partners in the private, public and voluntary sector across the county, will bring together specialist expertise, which could range from hosting visits to sites across the county, to securing introductions with potential business partners or suppliers.

Mike Burrows, Deputy Chairman of Shaping Norfolk’s Future said,

“This is a unique business service, which is not just restricted to offering business information to potential investors.  It can provide clients with an understanding of Norfolk’s cultural, environmental and social landscape, creating a vivid picture for someone considering investing, working or living in the county.  Essentially our aim is to help a client get that real flavour of what a great place Norfolk is to do business.”

Chris Mace, Managing Director of SaxonAir said, “We have over 200 clients per year, many of whom are business people of influence, who could be significant investors in the city and county.  This is a really exciting opportunity to provide our clients with an invaluable service, tailor-made to their requirements and demonstrate Norwich and Norfolk’s strengths as a great place to do business.”
